First Comp

Hey guys,

Lisim here with some super exciting news, I’m happy to announce our first competition that’s right your could win something.

I’m not going to tell you what yet I’m going to ramble and ramble until you can’t take it much longer.

Are you on the edge of your seat yet? Well get ready first prize for our comp is the Grunty Marine Murloc pet you get from Blizzcon, if you follow my twitter you would have seen that I subscribed to the live internet stream of blizzcon this is because I want to see what goes on there what all the hype is.

So how do you win the Grunty? What are the runner up prizes well keep reading ill tell you.

The comp will run until October 28th this is because I won’t get the Grunty code until 6 to 8 weeks after the even and also some people may do some stupidly awesome submission that will take them ages to do and I want to make sure they have enough time to do so.

So Grunty is first prize and I will also do runners up 5 runners up will get a message of there choice announced on the show and on a blog post and it could be any thing a hello mum, a jane I love you, a dear john I hate you OR a this podcast sucks check out my site. Anything.

Ok to enter this comp what you need to do is contribute to the site and or podcast in any way submit a news story, leave an itunes review, make us an album art, a better theme for the forums or blogg, donate cash, time or content, plug us on your favourite website. The list goes on

PvP Exp!

Hey guys,
Lisim here so I got bored on my priest so I logged my DK Lvl 59 on blackrock (Lisimknight). And some one was looking for a pre made I sent him a tell going dude level end game is great like the newb I am, its then it clicked oh hey PVP XP!!!! So I joined up, being a level 59 and well geared I rolled face I now have the bulk of the WSG achievements  aswell as being very close to 60. I’m now tossing up weather to disable XP or see if I can ll this DK via pvp only.

Well I decided, and I will be leveling via pvp only. For one on my priest I don’t get to pvp much as I’m very inexperienced as a pvp healer so its win win.

Also I figured I can blog about it so you guys can see and follow how bad I am. So I am going to add another category (PvP Leveling).

So subscribe to that one

Please note this is a side project as I’m currently dedicating time to Job seeking and Leveling a rogue for some end game funz

Ok Guys non wow podcast this week and one that is new like ours this one however is way way way better backed.

This weeks Podcast plug is for Movielicious

Here is their brief:

Turpster, Nicole and myself join forces to assassinate movies of all kind!
I say assassinate because our reviews don’t really qualify as “professional”… We give our opinions and convey our thoughts on these flicks by way of kindly telling where each other is completely wrong. Pretty much just like you guys would with your friends after going to the cinema!

The fun is practically guarantied though, and that’s what makes The Movielicious a show that you’ll be happy you’ve listened to: it’ll bring a smile to your face.

Now reading that you will see maybe somethings you have seen before maybe lets say the names of the hosts Partick Beja (Has far to many podcast that rock Give How i Wow and good Google also as well as his bit on The Instance podcast) Turpster The_T yes our friend from “Mother England” you may have heard him on The Wow Insider show or heard Interviews with him on How I WoW or The Instance, Maybe your a fan of his Turpster TV I know I am. And of course Nicole probably not as well known as her co-host by our demographic but without Nicole this podcast would lose its charm.

So Patrick, Turpster and Nicole go to the cinema watch movie and review them very basic idea but the way they pull it off and the fact they are so different in opinion and culture (the fact that Patrick is French Turpster English and Nicole is a Yank).

They are up to their 6th episode and I have enjoyed every single one and have since hearing their reviews have viewed the movies in the cinema and have to say going into the movies with their reviews in mind made my movie viewing experience sooo much more enjoyable I found my self going I see Turpsters point here and ah I understand why Nicole didn’t like this bit.

So make sure you check out their new podcast and report back with your thoughts.

Second Skin – A Look on MMO Players

So I watched it 95mins but it was interesting enough for me to sit there for all of it Snagfilms puts ads stupidly in there you adjust to them.

I think they managed to tackle all the main subjects of MMO players

also Starman and Renata make an appearance (from World of Warcast)

They tackle the addicted and how it can ruin lives how people choose to handle this some move away from it other unfortunately get taken by it

it shows how it can relate and replace RL how it can even make a difference to some people who otherwise cannot socialize properly witch is something i old close

hey show how romance can blossom and its rises and pitfalls

in short such a greatly done Doco is well worth your time

Episode #Zero  is live guys

I’m not 100% happy with it and its very short, I feel that since I went solo it lacks allot but hey no one starts perfect.

No bumpers for the show yet if some one wants to submit some go ahead we will use them. No user submitted segments this one either nor any user submitted news, we hope in the future for that to happen so I can see the cast being longer that way also.

Life

Hey Guys,

Lisim here, I know we have a few (one or two) people looking forward to the Cast or at least want to make a judging on it.

Well we seem to be having trouble working a schedule with forry,

I will record an cast by myself tomorrow and hope to get it out before Saturday.

I hope it all goes well I have a rough idea on what ill talk about but I don’t know how well a solo podcast will go.

I’m setup to go if any one wants to chip in and skype us for the first episode that would be great.
